Food was delicious!! Staff were super helpful and attentive. The rolls and very large and they are great to share.

My family and I are here at least once a week. I love the ramen and the Jessica roll. If you love yellowtail this is the place for you. The atmosphere is cozy and love the green tea ice cream for dessert included .

They are super friendly and the food is delicious. The salmon burrito is so good(sorry, forgot to take picture), they use soy paper so don't worry about your carbs. perfect protein for the day

Return after a 8 year hiatus. Quite possiblly the best rainbow roll I have ever had. I got the 20 dollar bento box. Miso soup, chicken, gyoza, and 5 pc rainbow roll. Great deal. My son got 12 PC sashimi which was beautifully displayed. Service was very good, and love the complimentary green tea ice cream.

My partner and I had a craving for sushi after class and came across this place through yelp, and by far the best decision we have ever made! We were greeted by the staff immediately upon walking in, and we were served our beverages as we sat down. The waiter was kind and attentative. As we were ordering, I tend to speak in a softer quieter tone so the server mistook my seared salmon sashimi for the seared salmon roll, totally my fault and an honest misunderstanding, but he let us keep the roll and even gave us an additional dish to say sorry! Truly such a kind gesture and my partner and I were touched seeming as it was just an honest mistake! Both the seared salmon roll and sashimi were to die for, and my partner enjoyed his caterpillar roll as well. Such an amazing experience, they even left origami paper out to put up on the walls. Overall such an welcoming place, with amazing staff and most importantly great quality sushi.

This is our absolute favorite sushi restaurant! It is hands down the best around here. It is a very small place on a strip mall, it is a small hole in the wall worth looking for. There is plenty of parking on this plaza and it is FIFO for tables. Due to the size of location, I would say it is for smaller parties. The service is always great with very friendly staff that can help you through the menu if you have any questions. We have tried multiple things here from their sushi and rolls menu. I wouldn't say we have a favourite because we have tried a lot of them and we have liked them all! Their sauces and toppings on the rolls are delicious and the fish is always very fresh and thick cuts. They are a good value for your money given the amount of fish they put in their rolls and not too much rice. The special rolls also have beautifully elaborated presentations. We have brought family and coworkers here and they have all loved it! If you are on the fence about trying them, just give them a chance and you won't regret it.

I was on a sushi hiatus for more than a month so I decided to give sushi box a try. Boy does this place have many options! Not to mention, it has a very cozy and Japanese interior. From sushi, to hand rolls, to burritos, to sashimi, to rice bowls, to ramens, to udons. There's definitely something for everyone. I ordered a California roll with 5 piece sushi and picked it up within 15 minutes - the service was fast! The California roll was perfect. However, the ratio of rice to sashimi was about a 50/50. Maybe less rice next time?

I'm always in this plaza for 99 cents (now Dollar Tree) and just tried Sushi Box for the first time. Its a small restaurant with about 5-6 tables inside. The largest table seats 6 people but they can possibly push the back tables together to seat up to 10 people. Lots of parking available as well. I came on a Friday night and there was no wait. They have a special roll promotion - order 2 and get the 3rd roll for 50% off. We ordered the following: Jessica roll ($14.50) Seared tuna ($14.50) Shogun ($17.00) My personal favorite was the Jessica Roll. The seared tuna roll was good, but it's a little different since it's garlic butter seared tuna so it's definitely preference. Lastly, shogun had a good amount of fish in the roll but wasn't as flavorful as the other rolls. Overall, not bad for the rolls and they were decent size. I will say service was amazing though! Our server was very attentive, checked in on us, and the food came out quick. They had complimentary green tea ice cream and also gave us this complimentary spicy tuna/poke nacho dip. Overall, great customer service and good rolls.

Sushi Box is a national treasure. The gem of Brea. I sing praises about this place. It's such a cute hole-in-the-wall place, run by great people who really care about you having a good dining experience. Excellent service every time, going above and beyond. I used to live in Brea and ate at Sushi Box often. I even had my going away party at Sushi Box. I am thrilled to see that even after 5+ years away, their hospitality and quality of food haven't changed. While the food isn't life-changing (I don't want to oversell it), it is still delicious. I had the mango roll and split the dynamite roll with my friend, and my husband had the bento box with chicken teriyaki and tempura. The portion for the bento box is huge and it's extra filling because it comes with salad, miso soup, rice, and gyoza. The presentation of the dishes is great. I wish the mango roll had more mango, but it was still good. The dynamite roll is a decadent and heavy roll, so make sure you're in the right mood for it. The chefs were nice enough to send out 2 complimentary dishes to our party of 5. One of them was some toro with chips and eel sauce, and the other was some fried albacore. Both were good and it was so kind of them. At the end of the meal, they also give out free green tea ice cream. In this economy??? Hahaha. I love this place so much and it feels like home. I wish this business success like no other. Thank you Sushi Box!

Food: 5* Price: 3* Quality: 5* I ordered via Door Dash. The food arrived fresh, at the right temperature, and ample in quantity. In fact, so much so, I will enjoy leftovers tomorrow for lunch. The sashimi was very fresh, of good size, and sweet. The 911 was great, a little spicy, but a good mouthful. The tempura was light, crunchy, and tasty. I plan to stop by this place when I'm in the area. Excellent quality.
